THE EXECUTIVE HOMECOMING PROJECT
AMARABA is a positive response to the occupational and social embarrassments that confront Ghanaians who, after spending sometime outside their home country find it extremely difficult to integrate into the local system.
AMARABA creates a platform that will enable the integration of homecomers with their home country. It supports, in full the adage that; ‘be it so humble there is no place like home', hence the need to make Ghana a habitat worth living for Ghanaian in the diasporas.
Research and analytic observation continue to prove that once such people return home, they find it difficult to lay their hands on jobs hence their inability to sustain themselves. The sequence of this situation has, more often that nought, been that victims have to go back to these western countries; where it believed that at least a manual job could earn a good living.
AMARABA, which means welcome in the Ghanaian Dagarti dialect, seeks to provide a meaning and productive solution to cushion returnees whenever they find it difficult to find a job or to integrate while back home. The project is of the conviction that, however long or otherwise a native stays out of the motherland, there is always a heroes welcome in wait for him.
AMARABA projects a system that will not only welcome homecomers but also provide a system that will give homecomers a reason to stay and enjoy staying.
